don't know if anyone here ever listens to these guys...but I was listening to their song "Mind Phazer"...and for the first minute or so...I kept expecting to hear Barney start belting out Touched By The Hand of God...

Yeah. Joy Division. 
I actually own that single (12") and, yeah, it does bear similarities -- the bassline, mainly -- but much of the synth sequence as well.
It never struck me before, really, as I always listened to this one with the same approach I have when I listen to a Front 242 record.
The rest of the song is very VERY different anyway...
Holy f**k! Some parts of this song do sound like TBTHOG. 
Funny how I never noticed that before, I'm usually good at spotting those kinda things.
I haven't been listening to electronic body music (or whatever you classify this music as) lately, though.
