On 6music they're having a themed Goth week http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/joyof6/gothgallery.shtml

For some reason they're including JD & The Fall.

I've emailed them, explaining the errors of their ways. I suppose it's good to here Joy Division on the radio at all:

We're expecting quite a bit of backlash about labelling Joy Division as goth, but to be honest with you, we'd rather have a great lost album by Joy Division rather than Lords of the New Church...hopefully you can understand our dilemma. When we talk about Goth I think it'd be dangerous to play "proper" Goth, so we're trying to broaden it out as much as possible.

Of course in my day no goth band worth their salt would admit to having anything whatsoever to do with goth: "The Scene That Dare Not Speak Its Name".
