Lads, lads, it's ONLY Electronic. Don't cheapen yourselves. I wouldn't waste the postage on it either!

There's a principal involved here AJ, are we not worthy of the same rights as our cousins over the water? Is postage free within the Americas? I think not! Us Europeans/Asians etc. demand the same rights as them! :smoking:

Well, guys, look at the band's touring schedule.

Errr, aren't you being a bit harsh on 'em-it is a free competition afterall ain't it? It's not like they're being paid to run the site is it?

Yes, probably, but it still does'nt seem fair. It seems to exclude most users of this site. I know the guys do it for the Love of the Order, but that's why we're here too.:smoking:

Yeah but if me and the Muffboxer didn't try and cause as much havoc as we can at any and all given opportunities then surely we will have failed in our roles on the board game.

I can't stand 99% of Electronic and would prefer to lob my own arm off before I received a boxed set (with or without the correct answer to the question) - but because Muff started moaning I joined in for absolutely no reason at all. In fact, I don't even know what we're moaning at.

Huntsmoan, we're moaning at the fact that the price of Philadelphia cream cheese seems to have gone up again for no apparent funky reason! Personally i'm very p'd off about that! And the price of tuc biscuits these days is enough to put you off the 'roly poly', nearly! And it's bloody raining again! :smoking:

What a fucking rip-off. I'll put pen to papyrus and jot down a few pensive notes to my local Hasda representative.

Expect a reduction soon in tuc biscuits, however, cannot guarantee cream philadelphia budging from its latest pricing structure. While we're at it... I noticed the bastards had slipped another penny on hens eggs the cretins.

It's not raining here..in fact it's quite devine at the mo. Huntsman, what is the 1% of 'Leccy that you like?-I take it thats why my previous comment on your tune was so badly received.

Greedy capitalist bastards!! It's racketeering, that's what it is. The more a man longs for a tasty omlette the more baw-bees they grab off him. Luckily though the price of fancy loo rolls is unaffected by these shenanigans, I do like a softy to soothe my caker after a vindypoo and lager scoffing sesh! :smoking:

How is Velocity girl ever going to refuse you Muffy??

Mr. B... the 1% of leccy that I enjoyed was the very notion that Barney was going to team up with Jeffrey Mars and collectively forge together the single best band ever known throughout the Stickwhistlers of Gamma 7 and beyond!!!

I mean, with Summertimes superfluous vocabulary and singing notation + songwriting ability and Mars Bars smart guitar janglings how could they fail?...

oh dear... the first electrical electronic album surfaced with a suitably impressive cover... I walked towards it, and played it on my stereogram. Oh dear, oh deary deary me... oh god, oh no... was it all done on a 4 track?

So, the 1% was that moment I thought they would be good, and the 99% is my rage that they weren't.

Re-mix some of the material from the 1st album to decent (even raw) production levels that are good enough to represent these 2 gods and throw the other 10 years down the fucking swaney frigging river.

I think 70% of the material can be found on a Yamaha Portasound 1995... presets 1 to 9.

I thought you liked Getting Away With It, Huntsy?

mmmm.... it hasn't aged as I'd liked it to have. unfortunately it sits in my memory banks like other songs of that year, whereas the order ages like a mature wine selected from the vineyards of satan.

A bit harsh I think Huntsy, though we have been over this before. It's a crackin album in my book, 10 bob production or not! :smoking:

Well Muffler we have almost come to blows over the good and mostly bad points of Electrical Systems but you have a valid point in your 'ten bob' production assessment. I hate to harp on about it (oh go on then) but surely the whole point of 'Eleccy Meter' was their ability to show us sparkling new ways of creating Eleccy music?.. was it not... I think you'll agree... instead, it sounds like it was made before Movement of the Moles which detracts from the pleasant'ness of the whole affair.

Muffy, if a lady presents you with her extreme sections you'd think yes great... whence the layer was peeled off and you were ready to dine should you smell stale mackerel you would back-off like a man running from a tiger. This is an excellent anecdote that in some way relates to my feelings about the eletrical abusers.

Hunts, youre being a bit harsh about the mackerel/Leccy thing I think...surely the stench would make little different to the content...your anecdote suggesting to me that good tunes were ruined by poor production

I thought the first album was superb..almost up there with Technique, and the third a decent enough effort. The second was dogshite though.

Electronic is a desperate name though. Especially when it involved a couple of veterans amking guitar music a la Twisted Tenderness.

Right up there with 'Take That' and 'Boyzone' in the shit name stakes.

The reason is... we don't pay for it, the CDs will be shipped directly from the label to you...

Koch don't want to extend this to outside of their territory, because they don't distribute this album in other areas of the world.

We're sorry about that, but we can't do much about it, we'll try to get other competitions that goes around the globe.

Now that i've got dry pants on again I think I would be inclined to agree with you Huntsy, I never did like the smell of fish! :smoking:

You are hereby forgiven Mr Blanc, and after the events of the last 45 minutes i'll be too busy laughing for the next 20 or so years to be able to listen to the remixed shite anyway! :smoking:

The name Electronic was definitely false advertising.

I think, given the distress I cause the snake, I'm not going to make any further comment about the electrical testers. I do like some of their shit but fear it suffers from bad produce when there is no need. They can at least afford to draft meat head sir arthur conan baker in when they need a help out with pies.

I think Muffin the Mucus picker said it best in his response to the boy Blank (please see above for further knowledge).

Well why didn't you tell them IN THE FIRST PLACE?

it has NOTHING to do with shipping fees!!!!

Koch Records is an american company and its market is North America, PERIOD. Therefore the contest is held only for North Americans.

That's not any kind of discrimination -- that's called business. Most of the contests, competitions and sweepstakes are limited to certain countries for different reasons -- marketing, regulations, etc. Nothing new here!

And for the record, I think Twisted Tenderness is a VERY GOOD album and those who loathe them simply do not like guitar-based songs and expect poppy synths like their two first albums.

I like them too Seb, I like all three albums. I was only trying to stir things up a little making a fuss about the competition, there are web sites a plenty where we can get it for about £12 delivered if we want it. :smoking:

No, postage isn't free, but it does seem that the anthrax might be optional. Surely you don't want this stuff on your shores, now do you?
