Stuart Hall always laughed a lot, he'd have cheered up Joy Division, and he wasn't a pretentious twat who wished he was Malcolm McLaren.

I dunno...I reckon Stuart Hall's football reports on Radio 5 are right up there with Anthony H in the pretentious stakes. Did you hear his interview with Juan Pablo Angel yesterday? I don't think poor Juan Pablo understood much of the 'colourful' phraseology that old Stuart was using...I know I didn't!

Could'nt imagine Wilson on It's A Knockout, Mr Hall had pro football trials with Manchester City I think. So at least when he speaks about football you know he knows his subject, unlike Wilson.
