As I have had a few nice comments lately I will continue ...

I will post more often so this is out of the way sooner.

Remember you are voting for THIS ALBUM'S version of each track. I am thinking (and hoping) the very crap Sub-culture remix will get no votes. BTW I will be putting all tracks that get zero votes into a poll for the crappest NO track of all time.

A final note: Why the hell is EGG on CD1 when it was the A-side????

Temptation - the whole reason I have this obsession with the Order!

Bastards.

I think I meant to say why was EGG on CD1 when Procession is the a-side

This one is sooooooooo hard.

Ceremony by 0.001% from Temptation then the same margin again to TPK.

Shame these polls can't be 'weighted' so that we get three votes each but your 1st, 2nd, 3rd choices carry a different points score.

Mike,

Er, you actually have to vote, mate, just saying it ain't good enough.

Pete voted for Ceremony, then I did, and it was showing '2 votes'.

And, er, it's still showing 2 votes. Pull yer finger out! ;)

TPK, since the version on Substance is their best ever. But True Faith, Ceremony, and Temptation are close behind.

I voted for "Thieves"...watch mine be the only vote!

My rationale was this: BM is on the American version of PCL (or at least, my CD version), which is where I first heard it, I've grown to like the '82 version of Tempt just a little bit more than the Subs take, and I really thought about Ceremony but didn't want to jump on that bandwagon :D

Also could've gone with BLT or True Faith, but I didn't :evil4:

I just had to go with TPK. True Faith and Ceremony are great, but this version of TPK is the end all be all, while True Faith and Ceremony appear on every fucking compilation EVER, so I know you know we believe in a land of love. :thumb:

Voted for The Perfect Kiss here, even if it is truncated from its 12" form.

Temptation, this version is much better than the original!

(And sorry for those who think otherwise, but that's the first I ever heard, hence my first Temptation love!)

Of the songs in the running here(Ceremony, EGG, Temptation, Confusion, TPK, BLT and True Faith) only EGG and TPK are the definitive versions of those songs. OK, I know TPK is edited, but it's still pretty close to the original. It got my vote. But on occasion you can find me in the mood to argue EGG as New Order's finest moment. Though not as often as TPK. Was often a crowning moment live. If they ever play again, I wish they'd open with it as from then on the audience would be putty in their hands.

Damn, I didn't look at the results before posting. Everything's Gone Green with no votes might have tugged on a heartstring and gained a sympathy tally.:nonono:

TPK. I've managed to pick the leader every time, weird.

True Faith will always be the one for me. SOTN a close second.

No contest. TPK.

TPK, now that is the proper version. Now it'll go and be crowned the overall winner. It'll make the rest of the polls a bit boring unfortunately.
