Again... :nonono:

This line CAN'T be stated "as is", you need to put the next line...

"Here comes love, it's like honey, you can't buy it with money"...

Hence, you can't buy love with money...

But last time I checked, you can buy honey with money...

I was just about to mention it. However the song "Such a good thing" has some really stupid lyrics, I don't remember them exactly because I listened to the song only the one time.

The chorus from "Turn my way" is pretty Dave Matthews-ish to me. Sorry soccer mom's if I disrespected your holy visage.

To be honest, there aren't many NO songs that have unbearable lyrics. Most groups with this many songs usually have whole albums worth of songs that eat proverbial bum.

It's "The Corrs"

Yeah, it's not much better.

C'mon! That's pure poetry compared to most of their lyrics.

Remind me(I'm sure someone will ;) ), a quote from Sumner along the lines of:

"Bow down to the tune, the tune is God"

Or some such. I would suggest the bad lyrics outweigh the good but then that quote sums it for me.

"and ive never looked at you in a sexual way in my life before" not the worse line in Barnys box by far but it just eases the feeling that i think i may throw up apart from that anything that goes woop or oooh in NO's live backcatalogue now i think about it "im glad you like Blue Monday and Cermemony to" or "you love me cause my name begins with b"

But marginally more acceptable than him saying it while looking at Steve or Hooky ! Then again, I can't imagine anyone looking at Gillian in a sexual way, not even Steve !

Aaaargh - bloody literalists!! Love is like honey (sweet and addictive, but also sticky and messy); but you can't buy love with money: the syntax isn't great, admittedly, but nor was fookin' Joyce's!!!

'i don't need a curtain when i'm at home'

should be followed by

'because i've got no windows'
