JOY DIVISION TAPES ON EBAY

Forgive me for being absolutely shitted, but these tspes are nothing special. Check the setlists. Nothing us JD/NO collectors don't already have on CD (sadly).
(plus I have major doubts about any of them being even low generation recordings, and cannot believe for a second that any of them are the masters - some of the gigs he has on there - I've spoken to the tapers, and they would NEVER sell their tapes to anyone, let alone some bellend on eBay with too much money on his hands... though nevertheless, I would have killed for someone doing this sort of thing back when I started collecting live material.)
Firstly, the "Osborne Club" he advertises is the 3rd night at the Moonlight.
Secondly, the tape cover he shows for Eindhoven is identical to the one on one of my tape copies, purchased from Camden Market in early 1981. This is good, as good as any vinyl version, but at least two away from the master.
Thirdly "Paris Palace" is the New Order gig on the other side of an audio copy of HATYM.
The other tapes he has are certainly old, as they are recorded on old-style TDK tapes that were superseded by a new design in 1982. That doesn't mean they are necessarily any closer to the master than any of the ones already in circulation. I strongly suspect that these are nothing special at all.
