Consider the lyrics as posted on this site:

Oh I'll break them down, no mercy shown Heaven knows, it's got to be this time, Avenues all lined with trees, Picture me and then you start watching, Watching forever, forever, Watching love grow, forever, Letting me know, forever.

Then listen to 'Still'.

Irealise that this site quotes the New Order lyrics, but do you think New order got the 'translation' wrong?

instead of:

Picture me and then you start watching,

Curtis sings:

'Picture me in ten years time watching...'

I never noticed that before...

Yes or no?

Of course they got the translation wrong since they couldn't make out the exact lyrics on the demo tape. What boggles my mind is that so many people on this site still claim that Ceremony is primarily a New Order song when the music and lyrics were clearly there when Ian was still hanging around (pun intended).

I'll have to go back & listen to it again. How does the version on Heart & Soul go?
