NO yearbook fame

i was looking through the 1990 yearbook from the high school i teach at and came across the following on the 'what's hot' page: 'new order and NWA: hot picks.'

yes, new order tied with NWA as that year's most popular band amongst students on campus. the other top musicians for the class of 1990: U2, easy-e, and new kids on the block!

wow.

NKOTB, why did you have to remind me Agent Wood? Why Oh Why.

Maybe, once upon a time, a long time ago, in a galaxy far away, American teenagers actually had (semi-) good taste in music. Now, with my graduating class of 2002, I think Nelly and some other rap star were considered the most popular.
