Are they really finished with producing their own work?

Where, exactly, is the article that says that New Order can't seem to understand the latest music recording/synthesizing equipment, hence their preference towards getting other producers to produce their songs? I've become really skeptical of that fact since I've read that article about Steven Morris's and Bernard Sumner's home studios...
