Over on the internet movie data base forums, someone recommended Topher Grace as Ian in the new movie. Im no fan of That 70's show, but Im not going to hold that against Topher Grace. I think he has the right look, and age, 26. He was fantastic in Traffic, which far better displays is range of talents. I thought Sean Harris was terrific in 24 HPP, but if he's not available, I would like to see Topher take a crack at it. What do you think? yay or nay and why?

Can he get the mancunian accent? :skeptic:

But yes, I do like the guy.. I've seen him in That 70's Show, Ocean's 11, Mona Lisa Smiles, Win A Date With Tad Hamilton and Traffic (although you focus on Erika Christianson more than him in those scenes), I didn't see the new movie with Dennis Quaid yet, but it could be a good pick...

But isn't he a total unknown guy in the uk?

i hadn't thought of him, but good choice!

as for the mancunian accent--that'll just take practice. brits play americans and americans play brits all the time. it's more about his acting ability, which is quite good.
