air ticket from Belgrade to say London and back hmmm about $300 BUT I need to get a VISA which means someone from there MUST quarantee for me and send me some kinda statement or whatever you call it to show to UK embassy here and then they'll decide IF I can go there. Very complicated! Does this make any sense to you? If not, sorry!

I'm desperate

This could just be as simple as filling a form out on the plane. We fill green visa forms in everytime we visit the US,then just hand it in on arrival. Or is it more complicated than that?

25% of the tickets have sold out. After this years, they put next years tickets on sale for a limited time only. Tickets go on sale next month i think.

Fucking MORE complicated than that!!! A procedure that sometimes lasts more than a month time and if all the papers are clean the embassy still has a right to say NO. That's why I need that statement from someone who lives there and who'll guarantee that I'll come back to my country in due time blah blah blah ... See ... VERY FUCKING COMPLICATED!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I really hate living here!!!!!!! Like living in a fucking prison cell or something!!

Cool, I checked, for the end of April, 670$ for a roundtrip ticket, direct flight... Montreal to Heathrow airport in London.

Now that's interesting. 4 day trip, Friday to Monday... going to a show and still feel ok at 4 AM because it's still 11 pm in your system, that must be fun :p

april is after my spring break, but if they play any festivals that might be an option. :D i love T in the park--although i missed pulp back in '98 because i was busy watching the france/brazil match on the big screen they had set up!

as for meeting you, rocket: would i require any vaccinations beforehand?

That'd depend on what exactly you had in mind, Agent Wood.

Remember, ROCKET is one of NOOL's most eligible bachelors these days.

Eligible for parole, eligible for benefits, eligible for bus seats close to the door and plenty of other great stuff.

guess there isn't a vaccine for rabies, is there. might be dangerous if i get too close. do you concur?

The rabies thing is just a vicious rumour. Dogs' paws are discovered in KFC Picnic Buckets the world over. Any one of us could've eaten it.

Think you'll actually find him quite a dashing, debonair type. Just be wary if he offers to show you his favourite MINTY MINT seven inch.

Has ROCKET MICK announced any 2005 tour dates? Seeing as the last Rocket Mick World Tour never made it out of Chorley, maybe this time the Rocket will get off his lazy arse and give us a real tour, complete with stale beer, earsplitting sound reinforcement, violent fans, lots of overpriced merchandise and some sort of attempt at a light show. And perhaps we can get a decent support act for a change?

It's all academic anyway. Better to get hammered, Mr Smith, or speak to Gabri the trainer for some advice. Benny and Cassandra accept instant messages, for sure. Nobody knows what else will ensue.

Knowing my luck, if they do decide to do a tour I'll probably be (a) still stuck in uni; (b) trying to get a job; or (c) on holiday when it's going on. Story of my life!

Hum... *pondering*

What would be our chances to get the band to add *ONE NIGHT* on their tour especially for NewOrderOnline fans.

Let's say they do 2 nights at the Brixton Academy, it would be nice to have somebody online (GaryMac? Tim?) to work on having a PRIVATE gig for a 3rd night exclusively for members of NewOrderOnline, and tickets would be sold online.

So basically, it would be a normal show for them, but the first tickets would be sold here, then if we can't sell them all (which I'd doubt), we'd sell them on EBay or something... anyways.

Would something like that be doable? I don't think the band would see a difference, the biggest difference would be special promotions, everybody in the place would have a link together, and other stuff like that... like a special fanclub gig.

I guess something like that would only work if it was planned in advance, I'd sure travel for that one... and support could be done by Community bands.

Call me crazy, but I can't see why this couldn't be done... most people I see here would do 3 dates at Brixton anyways...

Tim, you should really relaunch the Community event with this in consideration... you never know, especially that Chris Nash is doing PR with Jayne and that Hooky is in complete knowledge of the Community project.

Ever the optimist! Would you travel Shelley?

Just checked efestivals. its a rumour that the order are for Glasto and a strong rumour for leeds and reading.

Hypothetically, i assume that some people will be doing leeds and reading. If so, any chance i could scrounge a lift off someone? I was going to do both last years for morrissey, but public transport scuppered my plans.

Well it's a nice idea, but not one based on the hard reality of business. For a start, you would need a registered promoter, and someone who could pay up front for the hire of Brixton Academy. Me? I could just about manage the Dublin Castle ;)

I didn't know Chris was doing publicity with Jayne, we'll have to take this offlist and see what we can come up with. Community is too far gone now to do a promotional event, but that isn't to say we couldn't organise some event that has a strong NOOL influence. I may also run the idea of Digital and re: order being support for any gigs - at least that way the fans would get to hear the old songs

Spotnick you have mail - ASAP please.

Actually Chris is in talk to try to interview the band and do concert reviews this summer, and doing PR for this website right now.

Apparently, in New Order land, the only website existing is the dark side... so it's time to rebuild our PR department it seems.

As for the show, I guess we'd have to contact the promoter for the gigs in question... I've always wondered how it work, does the band actually find a promoter, or do promoters contact the band for a gig? I mean, seriously.. you can't organize a "world tour" in 30 cities and talk to 30 different people...

I did, even though I'm a little pissed to see that posted there... so far I kept my mouth shut.
