Krafty Promo Artwork/Press Release + Remix Clip

Hope the whole remix sounds a bit more inspiring than the clip. I could fart a better tune than that...
The remix would sound alright if it didn't try to convert the tune to minor chords, an old trick which doesn't work for Krafty. I'd have made a powerful dance mix keeping the uplifting positivity of the original chord sequence, it could become a disco anthem just like it can be a live anthem. As I wrote the font of the promo is cool, but it's a bit similar to Low Life so I hope there's some great image on the real artwork too.

you are so wrong. this mix is fantastic. go ahead and make a tune that sounds as good as that one...seriously...you can't talk shit to a shit talker. put on Unknown Pleasures and forget about the future if you don't like the sound of this mix.
don't be shy....i dish it out and i can take it...and yes, i did hear your mix of Temptation and i stand by my comment...i'd like to hear you make something that approaches the quality of this mix. I'm extremely excited about the upcoming mixes (Jaques La Cont etc) and the new album...it's not like this mix is awful like the Superman Lovers mix of 60MaH. Maybe you just need to hear the full clip to appreciate it's glory.

I offered my opinion on what I heard and you read too much into it there buddy. Now read my post again and realize that I hoped the whole REMIX had more to offer than what was on the sample clip. It sounded cliche with the filtered vocal (woo... original) and the synth melody didn't quite mesh with the melody of the vocal. I'm all for the future and love Krafty, but don't accuse me of "talking shit." WTF is that supposed to mean? If you don't agree with me that's absolutely fine. The whole comment was meant to be a bit sarcastic, as is my mood this evening, so don't take it so damn personally.

I've got my flame thrower strapped on tonight...had a bit of a run in with the boss today and came home all fired up. just trying to provoke a bit of debate but failing miserably. we all have differring opinions and rightly entitled to those opinions. do you want me to email you the mp3 of this remix so you can have a better listen?
Now, I really need to know if this remix will be in the CD single or not. If it will, I wouldn't like the MP3 now, because I prefer to keep some tracks of the release for a first listen when I actually get it. But if we are sure that this remix won't be included in the CD single (i.e. if it's a promo-only remix or will be released only on 12") then yes please, I'd absolutely love an MP3 of the file attached to a mail message. Thank you.

Would love to hear it. E-mail is in my profile. I'm really easy going and made a smart ass comment for the sake of making one so don't take it too seriously. I just din't like what I heard and was a bit bummed by it. As for any of my work, you're certainly welcome to hate it with all your might, but I NEVER compare my own work, mixes, productions, etc. to anything of commercial quality. I love to hear music that is fresh, inspiring, and is mixed to the sound of sonic perfection and realize I'll never reach that level.. BUT I keep polishing my chops and learning. I do have a strong opinion on songs I like and don't like just like anyone else.
Cheers!
Chris

I don't know if you'll have other remixes by Jacques Lu Cont other than the 2 tracks he produced on the album...
i forgot he was producing tracks on the album and not set up to mix a single. i would hope he's going to give a track the remix treatment too. it would be cool to have an alternate mix of an album track on a single similar to the instrumental of Vanishing Point.

If I remember clearly, we should expect a Lee Coombs remix... or is he producing tracks for the next album ;)
Wasn't Brian Higgins of Girls Aloud fame supposed to be involved in production/remixing.....or was that just another of the many rumours?

Did you really say "Girls Aloud Fame" ;)
I can't get to the british stream, but I did hear a version of the song from a japanese website. I liked parts of it very much, but it wasn't a great new order song for me. But then again, I don't know if I heard the original mix as they intended, a remix, or what not. I'll have to wait for the album in april (us :()
Yeah, quite nice remix, listened to the radio-stream. glad to hear that they kept Hooky's bass in. well, and for the press-release... says that there are going to be 2 CD-singles, so only remixes or one or two non-album-tracks? ![]()

i cant wait.....life is (seriously) getting better everyday...all i can say now is I want you... I want you..I need you... I need you...shalalalala.... :)

give me this mix over the single mix anyday. Any ideas whose Paul Etworth is whose mixed it? Never heard of him myself
For those who don't read the front page...

51-52 mins in the show... (so 19:51)
Will be there 'til next week.
I'm not so sure that remix works, but it was great that they kept Hooky's bass in for a change. The original mix works better for me.
Wow! Very different from the original! I would apreciate very much a full version in my email: robertoaf*gmail.com. Thank you!
I'm not too keen on the remix version at the moment... it starts promisingly but never really gets going, it's a bit repetitive and not so New Order. But it might grow on me yet
I don't care for it - too scratchy, trendy voice stuff going on. good to hear hookey's bass at least.
Crystal remixes are much better than this... could have done better. The single is much more positive, bouncy, bubbly and this mix is too choppy.
get BT to remix!
After listening to the song again - to clarify - it's not bubbley, but bubbley, rock-ish.
love the single!
