Hello all,
Far be it for me to question the validity of what seems to be a very successful thread here on the board, but.....
being a novice expert on dystopian literature, the only "Rm. 101" I know of is from George Orwell's "1984".
In the book, "Rm. 101" is one's own personal "worst thing in the world." It is not really a place where one gets to banish things.
For me, it's stinging insects. I absolutely HATE :headoff: them. I'm 6'3"/240 lbs and I'm scared to death of them.

Michael mate, On TV over here in Blighty, Room 101 is a TV Programme - they probably got their inspiration from George;) The idea of the programme is to get a celebrity on, and they name 5 or 6 of the thing they dislike the most...dunno if ye've seen The Weakest Link, but that Anne Robinson caused a bit of an uproar over here - when she nominated Wales...personally I thought it was funny as fuck.

Yeah, we have the "Weakest Link" here and she's become somewhat of a celeb.
"Saturday Night Live" does a funny parody of her and the show.
