I know I am going to catch a lot of flak for this, but anyways.......

After listening to the 4 song preview of WFTSC on BBC, I must say that I think JetStream should be the next single, especially for the American market.

I Like Krafty, but it took me about 4 listens to really get into it and really dig it...

However, the first time I heard JetStream, I was totally hooked. I replayed it 5 times, and I was singing iy all day. I woke up with it in my head today....

The lyrics arent the best, but the song ins very dancey, and incredibly catchy. its up there with New Order's best pop moments (Regret, Fine Time, Round and Round, Crystal, BLT,ect). I can see tons of teenage indie kids hearing jetstream on the radio and buying the album cause of it. Jetstream would fit right in at an indie dance party, between the Faint and ladytron.

Why do I say this? Its important for NO to be attracting new fans, and the millions of teenage indie/arty kids here in the US who are into The Killers, Interpol, The faint, ladytron, ect, would go absoloutely nuts for a New Order song like Jetstream, and that could be really good for New Order.

I say all this because back in 2001, when Crystal was released, it got played a lot on alternative radio in the US, and that song was quite big. I was a freshman in college at the time, and TONs of of kids got into New Order because of Crystal. They would even play Crystal at 80s Night, and tons of people would go apeshit for it.

Plus, with the Scissor Sisters being so popular, theres a whole other market of folks who would dig JetStream if they heard it.

That, and jeetStream is so damned catchy. I cant stop hearing it in my head.

And according to that intervriew, Barney agrees with me...
