Okay, now a fair poll, after some people didn't like the Dracula-poll

Which song do you think should they choose as the 2nd single from WFTSC?

My choice is clear though, I go with the Vampires. (Where's the Vampire-smilie?)

I'd pick Morning Night and Day, but Dracula's Castle is not a bad option.

I TOLD YOU SO.:thumb:

I chose Dracula's castle but Turn and Guilt is a Useless Emotion are my runner's up. I still think any of the songs on here could be hits though. Hopefully that will lead to big album sales.

I have absolutely fallen in love with Guilt Is A Useless Emotion...so that's my choice!!!

Pull a U2 - release "Dracula's Castle" in the UK and Europe and release "Turn" in the US. Turn is the best chance for a big hit in the US - it cries for a late spring, early summer release.....

I'm in love with Dracula but I voted Joe! :thumb:

WFTSC, followed by Turn

I choose Who’s Joe? and later it could probably be Morning night and day

Joe it should be.  Even Maya agrees on this.

Ahh look at these results. No clear winner and only 2 songs didn't get chosen (Poll isnt closed yet either). This is a mark of a good album, can't all agree on any one, two, or even three songs.

it seems we dont get a clear result... 31 votes, no obvious favourite,  and 9 out of 10 tracks chosen!!!

what does that mean? ?? I am a bit confused

"Waiting For The Sirens' Call" (4:00 Min. Radio-Edit)

I think it's time to close this poll, we have 41 votes and no clear favorite. The title track is in lead with 9 vote but only gets 20-something percent. Seems like they can pull out any track they want, they'll find someone who appreciates their choice.

I really didn't expect this result.

"Working Overtime" in America. It's their garage revivial rock Jet, Strokes, Hives number that will really take off here.

I'm surprised so many people picked jetstream. Not a fan of songs where words are spelled out, unless its pure pop or rap song.

I think WFTSC is the most radio-friendly.

Commercially i'd say Jetstream, followed up by either Guilt or WFTSC if they're willing to take a pretty big risk. Turn is way too sappy for an American audience and I don't see WFTSC catching on with anyone in the States save college campus britpop cliques and previous NO fans.

Both the Stuart Price tracks are slick and machine-processed enough to possibly get some airplay on stateside dance and alternative radio, especially Guilt. If followed up with disorienting, CG-heavy videos with nauseating camera angles they could also perhaps show up on MTV from time-to-time, kind of like Madonna did with Ray of Light.

I told you so - great reggae track with some 80's stuff thrown in - and this is my first post BTW.

The album is a pure cracker - can't wait to get a legit copy for my collection! The article in last Saturday's Independent Magazine first alerted me to the upcoming album - so had to join this group...

Turn and the title track are my favourite's but Guilt is a Useless Emotion would be the most viable single that doesn't make me cringe (i.e. Jetstream).

I reckon they should just re- release Murder.Hit written all over it:evil4:

I voted for Hey Now What You Doing (my favorite on the album). It has such a great punch to it (sounds awesome at high volume), and the chorus is a good sing-along. To me, it has WAY more commercial appeal than that god-awful Jetstream, which Barney apparently wants as a second single.  Of course, what works on American radio doesn't necessarily apply everywhere else. A non-N.O. fan might hear Jetstream on the radio, and think they're a pop band with a male and female singer. I just don't see how that song will help sell this album. Geez, do I dislike the song, or what?

I have yet to hear the entire album, heard about half so far, but my vote goes for Jetstream.

Jetstream 2nd, then a Guilt Is A Useless Emotion remix cos that's just crying out to be played in clubs.

Jetstream has everything to be a successful single. catchy, strong chorus, Ana Matronic and the chance to have great remixes. is not my fav track. but i´m thinking about the concept, "single off the album". this is made to promote an album and to increase its sales. and Jetstream can, no matter what i think of it musically.

it has to be Who's Joe

Using a boot pre-release copy I have, 4 songs came to mind to me straight away as 2nd & 3rd singles. Morning Night And Day & the Ana-vox version of Jetstream were a toss-up for the 2nd & WFTSC or I Told You So for the 3rd.
