WHY? I suppose it's a nice touch from the band but it must have struck the casual viewer as kind of odd. Notice how he was putting his overcoat on as he was walking up to and on the stage; and then after Hooky had said his dedications Barney gestures to Wise to say a few words and Wise moves out of camera shot?!
