About a year ago I remember there was seriously early fan who was selling his precious autographed Joy Division records. He'd even got probably the first autograph by Ian on a cigarette packet. He even came on here to explain himself and meeting the band and why he was possibly selling i.e. reached the age where family house more important than old records.
I just wondered if anybody knew if he has sold his collection since. I, for one, hope not because
- I don't think anyone deserves to take that off him.
- With a second JD film approaching the JD legacy continues to grow even after 25 years, his collection's value will rise considerably. It'll probably be the difference between a flat and a house if he's managed to hold onto them.
