Perfect Kiss - 12" vs. Substance verson

Hi all...

I know that on Substance around 40 seconds was editted out of the full 12" version of this song so that all the tracks would fit. Can anyone describe what those 40 seconds were? Is it from the ending jam or elsewhere?

And why, oh why, did they choose to edit down this song when they could have removed 40 seconds from several other lesser tracks?

Yeah i agree entirely.The edited out 40 secs are from the end jam.Although i do believe this wasn`t the only track edited for Substance.Sub Culture and Shellshock are also shorter.Should have just left those 2 off altogther
