We wait with bated breath every time Bernard Sumner and Co announce they're heading off to the studio. This probably lessens their ability to live up to our over-eager, dribbling anticipation.
That said, current single Krafty is cut-and-paste New Order with some lyrics even a sixth form poet would have thrown in the bin.
Elsewhere expect more trademark but sadly wishy-washy electro indie with a few perk-up-and-listen offerings.
Scissor Sisters' Ana Mantronic gets on board to liven up Jetstream Lover while the boys dabble (possibly naively, you decide) in the reggae arena with I Told You So.
Though no doors will be blown off with the sheer fantastic-ness of it all, you know their rock-dancefloor credentials will seduce you into thinking you actually quite like this.
But we all choose our own brainwashing, don't we?
