No surprises here.
I understand the album may be delayed a week in Australia, despite what Warner seem to be saying. All stores I've spoken to say it's now out September 3.. Will confirm this soon.

Confirmation that 'Crystal' will be out on CD this Monday.
I think the info provided by the shops you're asking is probably a way of them covering themselves for later deliveries - as I understand it (and WMA are saying, and it's on their hard copy of upcoming releases), Get Ready is released on 27th, and will be in store (in the eastern states at least) shortly thereafter. There is always a difference between release date and arrival instore - I guess it depends on how close you are to a distibutor! Anyway, I hope I'm right, and you're not (nothing personal!)

Well, technically, the stores get copies BEFORE the release date so it can be available ON the release date...
Which is why sometimes you find the whole albums in mp3 before the release date.. it's not always promo copies floating around :)
Maybe it's different down under? :p

Candy, I too hope you're right, but I'm not holding my breath..
As for Nic's comments, I have worked in one of these record stores (in London) and the routine there was that many of Monday's new releases would arrive in store on either Friday or Saturday morning, so the release would be simultaneous across the country- no matter where.. And the added bonus was that staff could always bag a copy prior to release!!!
