Back to a favorite topic for a moment. I just listened to Thieves Like Us on the way home from work (started with ceremony skipped to thieves) and it's an underated classic without a doubt. some people are turned off by the vocal and i can understand that but the way the song unfolds is perfect. I couldn't stop thinking about how wonderful this would be as an addition to the set or as a song they revisit like Parardise. Barney's voice has improved since 84 and a new vocal would be magical. If only they let us choose the set list. Does Arthur Baker own the rights to Confusion and Thieves? I read the fine print on substace for the first time in ages tonight and noticed Shakin Baker credited for these tracks. I know he produced them but does his company own publishing rights as well?

I would imagine so, but thankfully he's still chummy with the Order. I don't see why he'd keep them from doing the song live. They probably just want to air out their new tracks with additional "classics from the vault" meaning the big singles (BLT, Temp, TF), so Thieves might get left behind. Unfortunate, really ![]()
yes...Thieves is a great song...I can't recall if it was on the set list at any of the gigs I've been to...hell, supposedly the perfect kiss was played here in Dallas, but I sure don't remember it from my two gigs at Starplex...so who knows...
but maybe...one day...
