Well to me it just sounds 50% better than the copy of the promo I had. No recording noise. The levels of bass and drums sound louder as well. Much much better.

Less to do with the CD accoustics, more to do with the lack of a layer of kebab grease care of your promo provider.

Next time he'd better add that layer of kebab fat then. Not that I am ungrateful.

I thought the best reason to buy any album is because all the COOL kids are doing it.

Acoustics, Dc - no double 'c'. What are you, American? CTB :bear:

'Optimistic' CTB, what are you, an eternal pessimist?

Don't answer that.

What have I done to deserve this, CTB?

Touche, o bearded one - seems your sharp-shooting would put Nien Numb to shame. I tips me lid.

Actually, it's just as well all us Aussies did buy WFTSC on release day, or we'd all still be waiting for that contest Nicolas promised us.....

Actually didn't have you in mind when I typed this, Patch - do you have a guilty conscience? This was more a generic sledge to the Spikes of this world. I would never have a pop at you, P - perish the thought. CTB :bear:

Like the Nien Numb reference there Beardude, but I shan't elaborate any further for fear of giving weight to various theories floating around these boards.

I wonder if Daddy Smooth, the king of all theories, would comprehend precisely who Nein Numb was. I think I've heard him mention Mon Mothma at the dining table but it was only to discredit her appalling soup repertoire.

Glad to hear that you weren't thinking of me, CTB.

So are you suggesting DC has a beard?

I have no idea, H.

Even by your standards, H, this is pretty ephemeral stuff.

All I got from this post is a soup reference, and possibly a new nick for Dc. Has your tangential writing style taken yet another whisical deviation?

Or am I simply missing something here?

P was so excited last year when Mon Calamari was rumoured to be present at dinner. Can you imagine his distress when he was found to be a guest rather than an entree? His soup supping techniques are, frankly, dire.

So are you suggesting DC has a beard?

Yes, P, I can confirm that Dc has at least one beard.

Well, he did in January.

DC might be able to put my post into your native tongue Keith - my post concerning a social discrepancy betwixt Pastie and the bringer of bad Bothan news was as plain as the nose on your face.

CTB will be getting too confused. You called him Kevin last time, not Keith. And Mr Smooth, isn't me, at least not to these peeps, it's Patsy.

Kev knows the difference between an A-wing and a Y-wing, he shouldn't need a translator.

Much like my excitement when mis-hearing the Brownlow Medal count a few years back thinking Admiral Ackbar had won the Brownlow....most dissapointed to discover it was intead some pock-ridden white-haired handstanding freak from the Lions called Ackermanis.

I can pretty much guarantee only you and I will understand this joke, Dc - and most likely, I'm the only one who thinks it's funny.

Don't dismiss Ackbar out of hand though Kevin, there is a chance he could defeat the Brownlow monster in future Nurf Hurdling events.

And I must apologies for calling you Keith back there, it wasn't pretty. I do know your proper name is Kevin.

Well, I'm completely lost. The only thing that is somewhat clear is that in the relatively recent past, DC possessed facial hair. He'll probably shave it off now just to throw us off.

I think it's due off tomorrow isn't it? ... I'm sure he mentioned Wednesday's was when it goes to the vet.

Rest assured, Dc - I shall reveal no more. Except to say that you drink slowly.

H - Kevin, Keith...it's all good, I care not one jot. It seems discussions here can take severe directional alterations in the time it takes me to prepare a green tea. Your comments regarding Lord Chas of the Forest Moon of Brownlow implies a knowledge of AFL, which supports my theory that you are in fact Dc.

P, I have no idea either.

Kevin, if you re-read my post - you could, like all good psychics, interpret the content to suit any subject matter.

You threw just enough pellets for me to assimilate a seemingly coherent retort.

Rest assured, I haven't the stamina of DC; I would fall asleep after 37 hours non-stop.

Understood and appreciated (although not entirely convinced), H.

May I ask why 'Kevin'? Or is it best not to ask?

It's hardly a weasel wrapped around the jaw, more like something you may find attached to one of those goats patrolling the Marske highlands, albeit more adroitly maintained.

Something like that.
