Much to my disgust, could hardly find a local review of the new album, let alone a poster promoting it. Keith Morgan of the Province put his trip down south this way:
"New Order has been on my "A" list for years, though I found the last album distinctly undercooked. They may have been in third spot behind Nine Inch Nails (predictably competent performance) and Black Star (no thanks) on Sunday, but the Manchester band's blistering set caused even the VIP section to toss the canapes and dance. Peter Hook is still blissfully unaware that a bass guitar is not a lead instrument, thank goodness. The new material is hard-edged and mixed well with the old favourites and some wonderful reinterpretations of Joy Division material."
He also listed New Order's performance of Love will Tear us Apart as #1 on his essential mix from the show.
