Spontaneously I'd choose "Everyone Everywhere". The "we have nothing but us"-topic is
very -sniff-.
Pointless again: What do you think is N.O.s most romantic :love2: Song?

Everyone, Everywhere which has the perfect formula or Thieves Like Us which is very honest too.

"Your hair was long your eyes was blue / Guess what I'm gonna to do you! Whoo!"
:D
"Player in the league" is very romantic, too...
I can see you everywhere On the ground and in the air You're the one that leaves a trace Like a star in outer space You shine brightly in the sky Underneath the golden eye You've got everything you need
-sigh-

The lyrics on the live debut at Bradford make it even more romantic. ![]()
The debut of Face UP
"I've known you since you were sixteen, betweeen your legs I've always been"
Studiowise, Run Wild.
Dream Attack for sure....remember listening to that at sixth form college with my Cure loving girlfriend....those were the fucking days..young love ![]()
Your Silent Face
The sign that leads the way The path we can not take You've caught me at a bad time So why don't you piss off
Ahh, romance! ![]()
So many, too numerous to think of, without the bitter/sweetness overcoming me.Such is the all consuming beauty in the songs you guys state.Great question this one. It sure as hell aint J-E-T tho,is it?Its so hard to think such thoughts whilst your ears are pissin out blood I tend to find :\ohwell:

Looking forward to this at Oxegen
(& EGG!)
"As it is when it was".
"That's the danger of believing books And all the lies of those thieves and crooks We sing intellectual songs of love From a stolen pen to a velvet glove."
Run Wild has some cynical lines, IMO. Nevertheless it is a romantic song.
Btw, the lyrics are not correct in the lyricssection IMO. It is not:
"And we're not like All those stupid people Who can't decide Which book to read Unless the paper Sows deceit"
It is: "Unless the paper Sows the seed" - to read a book. Or am I wrong?
"But never be a burden" has to be: "You´ll never be a burden".
Yeh Run is good. I also think WFTSC is very romantic
How many times must I lose my way, hey How many words do I have to say, hey What can I do just to make you see That you're so good for a man like A man like me.
This blue-eyed boy that wants to be wrote: "The Perfect Kiss", because there isn't anything more romantic than masturbation.
Making love with yourself is not true love.
Hrm, WFTSC or Dream Attack would be the frontrunners. But, I think Run Wild would edge them out. Soft, acoustic song with touching lyrics.

Yes it is. Shafting by yourself is the ultimate form of love.
Run Wild
"But if Jesus comes to take your hand I won't let go, I won't let go
Good times around the corner Good times around the corner Good times around the corner I swear it's getting warmer Good times around the corner Good times around the corner Good times around the corner
I'm gonna live 'til I die I'm gonna live to get high"
"You're the kind of person That I've always wanted to be with We'll you're really cool And you always say the right things to me But now I'll tell you something From my heart beats for you deep inside But never be a burden And my love for you will never die, never die, never die, never die, never die"
Great bass guitar from Hookey, and a cracking instrumental break before the final chorus.
"Turn the Heater On" ![]()
easily the most genuine romantic track by New Order, thou its a cover
other than that "Bizarre Love Triangle" original album version, makes feel all warm inside
Temptation gets my vote. Even tho we've never had one of those walking home alone fights.....and even though MOST of the words don't apply.....every time I look at my GF....
"oh you've got green eyes oh you've got blue eyes oh you've got grey eyes I've never met anyone quite like you before oh no I've never seen anyone quite like you before"
And in her case every word is true (she has those eyes that do change colour depending on what she wears and what the weather is, Mainly grey/green, but the blue's there sometimes too)
Video 586 :D :D :D :D :D
Seriously tho runwild by a MILE!!!!!
Oh and runwild.....
it's "sows deceit" not "sows the seed". Listen VERY closely!
Dream Attack is the most romantic song.
My English is not perfect, but sows deceit´ is that good English? Typing sows the seed´ in Google gives much more replies.
While poetic, it is good english, I suppose it would mean to plant the idea of deception? Sows the seed makes more sense, since the verse seems be about morons (stupid people who only watch or read what they are told),and how the subject is not like that.

Thank you, so I am right. Maybe Spotnick will change it in the lyricssection? And also 'But never be a burden', into 'You never be a burden', like the other sentences that also start with `You´. If you listen closely you hear that he sings that.

You have no idea how much discussion we had about this when Get Ready was out do you? :D
I believe this is a debate that was done before... Sows the seeds vs Sows deceit... and if the later one ended up in the lyrics it's because it was decided, but then again, now that we have some LIVE versions, we can listen to those for the parts we are unsure about.

Oké, but it seems obvious. The site World in Motion has the right lyrics. ![]()
