What song would you like to play you out, when you snuff it? I'll take Ceremony, and lock the church until the song has finished  :music:

Well, I wouldn't pick a new order song but "Elegia" (20+ minute version) would be most appropriate if by the name only.

As for what I would put either "milk and honey" by nick drake or jackson c frank. OR "come wander with me" by jeff alexander

Atmosphere twice, once as they remove my mortal remains from the Church and and again when they lower it into the Earth. Amazing Grace sometime during the ceremony.

No question "Atmosphere" (if it has to be a NO/JD-song).

Otherwise...hmm... something from Kent would be nice... "747" perhaps...

He he, I know cause it used to be your favourite until Turn came out. Mind you, Turn would do as well for such an occasion. ;)

Indeed it would, M.

If H were still around, I'd suggest nicknaming Turn (affectionately of course) "Runt."

For the punters walking into the church then most definately atmosphere,or if i'm planted (preferred choice) then atmosphere. At the wake all my crazy relatives + friends, several hundered gallons of ale, nice cheesy mobile disco, but the dj has only 3 boxes of records, mine !,all the records that i have collected over the years ! He is instructed to play only the records in the boxes, starting off with vanishing point(very apt, very similar to my childhood story) . The last record would be either true faith or love will tear us apart! by this time the riot van should have just about pulled up outside the venue, with all my friends and relatives kicking the living shite out of each other, the end result overcrouding at the cells in barnsley police station and at barnsley district general hospital! next day they all kiss and make up and go down the club for another session in the honour of there dearly departed lost compadre, namely me

The Eternal as the punters are all entering the crematorium, then Ceremony when they all leave.

I this just something common umungst miserable NO fans? saying that I have given it thought.

Barbers adagio for strings and elegia.

Alternatively like hooky's wife said atmosphere by Russ Abbott should be a laugh.

Thankyou BIGINOIL,Im grateful. It appears after reading, I am guilty of what is considered mild Vulgarity where I live. But I appreciate it can be considered offensive in other parts of the world, and for that I am sorry.I will try not to blur an issue with a crude tastless joke again.Sorry :bow2: To Runwild

Lonesome Tonight. My brother and parents have a CD with the original soundtrack version of Heny Mancini's 'Moon River' from 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' (my favourite song ever) that seques in to 'Lonesome Tonight' - to be played at my funeral. love the stuff about 'How many times before could you tell I didn't care'/'you believe in youth', etc. Plus the "gob" at the end.

Shame I won't be there to hear it.

"I am the Walrus" by "The Beatles" And if I carry on eating the way I do, then it will be quite apt.

True Faith, just because it's my fave song ever. Maybe an instrumental version, though. They could run it through a karaoke machine and mute the vocals for that. BTW, I don't get what people's problem is with Michael Brown either.
