What's the deal with the US release of Get Ready? A month and a half after the UK/everywhere release? I'll hold out if there's going to be a special extra track on there that's worth waiting for, but if its just an instrumental or something.....

Wise people at Warner/Reprise thought the excitement created over the band would raise the pressure (pun intended) on the sales. Plus, that gives the perfect time to promote 2 or 3 singles before... CHRISTMAS, when traditionnally, a hell of a lot of records are being sold.
And then, of course, that opens the door for New Order to tour North America in the first months of 2002.
It's all planned by the Marketing and Financial departments.
