International with bonus DVD

I only bought it for the True Faith video with extended footage of the band smashing up the stage at the end :evil4:

Had no interest in the cd as obviously had all the tracks in anycase - in fact I dont think i've even played it!

What purchases have you made for only one snippet or track of the 'Order to add to your collection?

I have 3 copies of International and haven't listened to any of them yet! I've watched the True Faith vid about 3 times but haven't put the audio discs in yet. I didn't plan on buying them all but when the French Double CD turned up used for under 6 dollars, i had to snag it.

I also realized today i had 2 copies of World In Motion (US) and the 2002 UK CD single too! How the fuck? I keep buying Electronic CD singles even though i've got nearly all of them already. (Still have plenty to trade so if anyone's interested, email me!) Last year i bought 3 diff. copies of Movement because the covers/countries of origin were different. I still prefer to listen to that one on vinyl though.

I bought both CD singles for some awful Monaco single though...Sweet Lips, i think...found them both for 99cents each and still think i got screwed! WTF?

If we can extend this topic slightly, to include stupid, needless purchases......I've bought two vinyl copies of WFTSC. Why ? BECAUSE I FORGOT I'D ALREADY GOT IT, THATS WHY :banghead:. I must have only got it a few weeks before hand. I'm getting old.

Anybody wanna buy a spare :D

I did buy the CD and received a promo by mail the next day... :nonono:

Actually, with promos, I believe I have 5 different version of that album!

  • UK Promo (cardboard)
  • UK Album
  • German Promo (same as UK album)
  • US Promo
  • US Album with stamped promo ink on sleeve (those given away in Chicago)
  • Canadian album (now signed by Hooky & Phil)

Wait, that's 6 !!!!!!

i bought the True Faith CD single used (and paid too much for it) so that i'd have Evil Dust...which several years later shows up on every other $5.99 2 CD alternative music compilation i run across! :banghead:  :banghead:

8 Ball by Underworld on the Beach is excellent, and the only place to get that song, so again, The Beach sucks except for Brutal and 8 Ball. Carry on.

Well, I also enjoy the Sugar Ray track and OF COURSE Porcelain by Moby.. c'mon, Porcelain is one of my favorite tracks of all time!

And Beached by Orbital is just SOOO good, and if my memory doesn't fail, voices by Dario G is not bad either.

(No, I won't talk of All Saints hehe)

A few years ago I bought a Q magazine that had a cd with tracks from bands that were appearing at the Summer Festivals. It had the rejigged Temptaiton on it not live. Actually there's some good stuff on that cd.

Having the CD of Revenge's 'One True Passion', I only bought it again on vinyl because I wanted a larger version of the cover....can you blame me?

I bought the 7-inch of Shellshock the week it came out in March 1986 purely to hear the really crap edits (completely out of synch) from the full 12" version. God what a swizz.:nonono:

Mine would be the Debut magazine/record album that's got Sunrise on it, though it does have Tears For Fears as the featured artist. Well, there are tracks by Kirsty MacColl and Colourfield on the plus side, but there wasn't much else to cheer for on the record. Only interview with the band that I can recall where they constantly review to Bernard as Bernie.
