Here's how i've been playing along to Krafty. Barney's always fun to play along to as his simple jangling makes weekend wailers like me feel like they have a good ear. Mind you, i'm a les miserable, so all I have to practice on is a (frequently out of tune) no-name plastic and balsa wood acoustic to practice on. Feel free to point out any glaring shite mistakes.
Chorus: E-2-2-2--0-0-0-0--2-2-2--0--0-0-0-0--3--3-2--2-2--0--0-0-2--0-2-0 B-3-3-3--3-3-3-3--3-3-3--3--3-3-3-3--3--3-3--3-3--3--3-3-3--3-3-3 G-2-2-2--2-2-2-2--2-2-2--2--2-2-2-2--0--0-0--0-0--2--2-2-2--2-2-2 Repeated around four times. Timing is probably buggered as my upstroke with a pick or otherwise is stunted and nonexistent.
Here's my attempt to play along to the chiming keyboard interlude that proceeds the famous 'Wobbly' synth bloops at 2:45 on the album version:
E-2-0-2-0-2-0-2-3-5-3-2--0-00---0---0---0-2
B------------------------------3----3----3----
Twice. Though it's not really part of the actual track, I like to squeeze this or parts of it in as fill during the solo and the outro as it sounds ace ![]()
The solo is essentially the chorus chords mixed up in sequence a bit, fairly similar.
The final chorus has Barney halting his strumming to bang on the seperate chords in slow succession like his life depended on it.
