Sorry folks, I don't know any more than was in my email from Warner Australia, which was cut & paste in the original post. It does seem strange to not include what will be the most current vid at the time of release (WFTSC), but I don't think Warner would know why that is the case.
Nic, maybe Management could cast some more light on this?

A week before my birthday -- that's what I call a treat. And it's not even impossible that it will be released in Poland -- the live DVDs are all accessible here. Can't wait!

That's weird indeed, never heard of it...

Bootleg...
Well, WFTSC is going to be released as a DVD single, so at least the vid will be on there (as well as a 12" and a CD single)...

I don't recall seeing this information before. Do you have a source for this?

Yup, both hmv.co.uk (sort by 'Release Date') and sirendisc.com (look under 'Future Releases'):

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I won't be able to play that DVD, since I only have a region 1 player.
Well, not all DVD singles are regionally coded... it's either 60 MAH (60 Miles An Hour to answer a question above) or Here To Stay, but one of them is not regionally coded.
Best thing is to have 2 DVD players on your computer.. one of each zone ![]()

I thought that Rhino was releasing the full DVD, with all prior videos. Is Rhino also releasing a DVD video single for WFTSC?
ATTENTION:
So are they going to omit the video sections in NewOrderStory since the first disc will include all the videos anyway? I mean the first video section, Confusion / BLT / Touched By The Hand Of God, the second with Fine Time etc. They'd better do! And fill the omissions up with unseen footage recorded during interviewing and etc. OR I've got a better idea: give us THE FULL versions of CEREMONY (1981), TEMPTATION (1982), that would be the best. Also wouldn't be bad to include Everything's Gone Green in NewOrderStory. C'mon, upgrade it a little bit, if you're not going to re-make it totally!

Nic, please tell 'em. That's for all fans' sake ![]()
I agree with above, while they are at it, tell then to bung in all the TV performances from 81 onwards. A full Riverside/Switch/ Whistle Test and Tube would be very good indeed.
I'm excited especially when I've only seen like a few videos - True Faith, Blue Monday, Touched, Confusion, BLT and 1963. And half of those videos were because of NOOL. The dvd is going to be awesome because I get to see the videos on a big tv in good quality. :D

Yeah, specialists in recycling stuff, but at least they didn't enter the round of doing remastered albums yet!

What's the make/model number of your DVD player? I can almost guarantee that there's a region hack for it (a series of buttons you push to unlock the regions and make it region free).

I think I investigated this before, and I was unfortunate enough to have one of the kinds where that was the most difficult to do.

well for $61.99 (shipped free no tax unless you live in WA, USA), you can get the Philips DVP642.
It has a built-in PAL-to-NTSC converter, progressive scan, region hackable, plays MP3, Divx, .JPG.. pretty much the best DVD player ever. :)

Region code and Macrovision hack posted by divuer, April 20 2004:
- Open the tray.
- On your remote press '0000'.
- Press '0' to make it region free or whichever zone you want to set it to.
- The newly selected region will appear on the top left corner of the screen.
- Close the tray.
that easy. :)

actually, in doing more research, I think this is the proper hack:
* Turn on player and open tray. * Use remote: 7-8-9-OK-0 (0 is region free, use desired region number) * 0( appears on lower left of TV.
I got it from here:
