I totally agree - although it's not a New Order track. Also, turn it up EXTRA 'fookin' loud.

Even better, 'Walked In Line', 'The Kill' etc. Any Warsaw/Joy Division that will shut the f*ckin chavs up...

What about Here To Stay?

I always play Confusion (1987) and it always goes down a storm. For some reason.

Also, a singer songwriter played an acoustic version of LWTUA in the bar one night, and all the spieds (that's what we call chavs in Belfast) were genuinely moved.

Always good to see

Confusion '87 as loud as it'll go. That'd wake them up!

In the Kube(gay bar) in Belfast I always put on Love Will Tear us Apart on the Video Dukebox. I always get strange looks from the queens as they are disgusted Girls Aloud or Rachael Stevens hasn't been selected

Regret, BM,TFaith are the only New order songs on most of the pub dukeboxes(if we are lucky)round our way...So Regret 1st coin for me:thumb:

Here To Stay. Just seems the most acceptable in standard pub music these days

However, if it was a music bar or similar, err... I'm not sure, actually.

My two favorite NO songs- in the summer, it would be Regret otherwise True Faith. Don't ask me why it would be seasonal, it just seems fitting.

The reason that i started this thread was because i went into this busy Irish bar in New York on 8th Ave.The music was loud and they did have an Internet duke box.I first played Transmission, then the best from Get ready and W.F.T.S.C.Bliss :music:  :music:

I think I've been in there, last year when I went on my tod!Fell asleep at the bar after being up 48 hours, and landlord told me to go;"you can't sleep here!"They had quite a bit of U2 on jukebox as well. But that wasn't why I fell asleep!! Touch and go,sometimes I put a tune on,it's not loud enough,so it would have to be FINE TIME.Raise the pressure!!:music:

last night i went out and various different places heard crystal, regret, temptation, blue monday and lwtua. none of them requested or put on the jukebox by myself either! brilliant night although i'm really suffering now.

I would choose World in motion so that the crowd really can go ENG-ER LAAND. (The english team needs all the help they can get)

actually I always fancied "Digital"

but a New Order Track? BLT sure but I always wanted to hear "Touched By The Hand of God" jus t cause well it is off the beaten track....

Transimission, yes, but NO? Probably Age of Consent, BLT or Temptation.

I'd be happy to hear any of their tracks at the Pub but i'm going to go for True Faith.

I was in Corbierre's in Manchester (renowned for its jukebox) last night having a few beers after the football. We were greeted by Transmission, followed by These Days.

Rock on!!

Touched by the Hand of God would be my first choice, although Confusion '87, TPK, and Here to Stay would be close by.

Excellent! They didn't have it on last week, but they had selected tracks from "Best Of" and the "Get Ready" CD.If they'd had "Substance JD" on I would have to go for SHE'S LOST CONTROL and NOVELTY. PS Are you coming to STAR & GARTER on 9th SEPT.Like a jukebox, but much LOUDER!!!!!!!
