Blue Monday tops Electronation top 100 in Holland

Nice to know that Blue Monday still makes (or has made) an impact on dutch partypeeps....

'Dutch partyorganisation 'Electronation' Last Saturday the 23rd of july broadcasted the complete Electronation top 100 chart on the Electronation radio show on KINK FM from 5pm till Sunday morning 2am. Everyone, Electronation crowd, dj's and radio show listeners alike, were invited to send in their top 10s and from all those entries the top 100 was compiled. The list truly reflects the personal taste of the Electronation audience. With New Order´s Blue Monday on number 1 and multiple Kraftwerk tracks topping the chart, along with quite a few Dutch artists (I-F, Legowelt), the list has truly become a top 100 electronic chart of all times.'

Talking of BLUE MONDAY i am just playing the NEW ORDER"BLUE MONDAY"-SO HOT MIX by 808 STATE.Owned this for well over six months and only just played it tonight.I bought two copies,one i gave to my son.He said it wasn't BAD but did not rave about it.I had put this safely shrinked wrapped away for a RAINY DAY.It is RAINING men!Inspired by playing old music from the 70's on two DVD's from the OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST i decided to play a little bit of VINYL.Must say for it's day this is quite a GOOD take on this track.MIKE of THE DIGITAL type would HATE
