Guilt is a Useless Emotion. Love it!!

Can we interpret Get Ready as the Get Ready Era? Because some of the songs that never made it piss on what was left on the album.

In which Here to stay, or maybe Behind Closed Doors. But it is a close run thing between some of the tracks on that album and Who's Joe and WFTSC on the new one.

Got me thinking, some of the Order's output since 2001 has been outstanding. The class tunes far outweigh the forgetful ones, making it hard to understand people who wish the lads had 'bowed out gracefully' or whatever.

"Crystal" and "Who's Joe?". The former is near-perfection, the latter is just one of the tracks on a very even album, although it does stand out a tad due to its position in the tracklist.

Primitive Notion and (I haven't decided yet on WFTSC)

I must say that i am impressed with you picking Vicious Streak from the get ready Album. As i do know that alot of people think it is pish. In Order for me from Get Ready

1.Someone like you 2.Turn My way 3 Vicious Streak:)

Someone like you (obviously) and Dracula's Castle are my faves..

Turn My Way from GET READY and the title track from WFTSC although i agree that Here to stay pisses over anything from GR

Tied for both albums

2001: Vicious Streak and Primitive Notion (minimalistic electronc beat; a storming tune that harkened back to the good old days)

2005: Who's Joe and Guilt is a Useless Emotion (powerful and beautiful; fun and electric mood)

Crystal Wftsc

It's a tie between GUILT and CRYSTAL for me.

At the moment… From WFTSC : "turn"/"working overtime"/ "krafty"/"wftsc"…

Get Ready : "60 miles"/"turn my way"/"primitive notion"/"slow jam"…

Oh, we're supposed to choose only one ? Well, in that case…

:ignore:

Primitive Notion & Turn are my favourites.

If I had to pick one it would have to be crystal. The more I listen to it and the more remixes I hear the more I love it.

It would be easier to pick the worst track as there's only one I don't like - working overtime...dull, dull, dull

someone like you WFTSC

close range and guilt.

If I can't include Here To Stay as "Get Ready era", I would pick:

  1. Crystal
  2. Guilt Is A Useless Emotion (Mac Quayle Vocal Mix)
  3. Waiting for the Sirens' Call
  4. Primitive Notion

Crystal. By a landslide.

for each i think there has to be the one that you think is a)'the best'as in the strongest or most new ordery and b)the one that you have a little soft spot for but you can't really work out why GR a)crystal- b) viscious streak WFTSC a)hard to decide, probably WFTSC b)again hard to decide, DC (even though i hate the name, reminds me of count duckula, appropriately enough) or guilt

Run Wild and Dracula´s Castle

Probably 'Slow Jam' and 'Guilt is a Useless Emotion'.

This thread was meant to be just for the one track ?But saying that it is good to hear your views !If we are now to pick one from each like alot of the replies are saying ???

Get Ready = Someone Like you

W.F.T.S.C. = A very very sticky choice between .Dracula's Castle and Hey now what you doing ?

I do like Guilt is but it just does not float my boat the same as the others that i have mentioned !!!

Turn My Way and Primitive Notion

WFTSC and Turn

Non-album track: Here to Stay

All great tunes that typify the 'NO Sound'

Crystal is outstanding on Get Ready and at the moment I pick Turn from W.F.T.S.C but it could have been Sirens ,Jetstream or Guilt, they´re close.

Run Wild and Turn

Turn is one of the best tracks in my eyes (well...ears) in yonks. Its very catchy and has that "something" that I adore bout them, if you know what I mean. I was disappointed that neither was played at T in't Park this year cos it was on the cards that Run Wild was gonna be performed, but I can't complain cos at least I got there! :thumb:

funny, two complete opposite songs. I like both. Rock the shack too me awhile to enjoy, but I appreciate as a rable rouser sort of song. The remix of guilt renewed the interest for me. The album version seems to have to many empty spaces.

Turn is the most overrated NO ever. So generic. I pick any song like loveless, all the way, gilty partner, run. All those songs on technique are in a similiar vein.

For me its 'Turn' classic NO, miserable, melancoly, fits perfectly if your going through relationship problems, what more can I say.

loveless i think is the most perfect NO break up song. Lyrics seem to be very personal. Turn seems written in 10 mins.

I think the last two albums have been superb, pick any two tracks you won't get any arguments from me.

How is it possible that I only just now realized that "Close Range" implies "shot at close range"?
