Never mind the noisy pub!! Some of us (ladies mainly no doubt) may like to spend more time under the sheets...or wherever takes our fancy...listening to NO rather than going down the old Slug and Lettuce! I am not too fussy which album is on(has to be an album cos a single would not last long enough ha ha) but any members got a preference? Temptation and Run on repeat play could be a fantasy worth checking out!! :D :jump:

sounds like a match made in heaven...

back in the day, we would just stick in Substance, and have fun...

no idea what I would use now...

There's nothing worse than being distracted from NewOrder.

i guess the five discs of retro played one after the other in a CD changer are the only 'songs or albums' that would last long enough.

Touched by the hand of god over and over again.

I seem to remember the review of Brotherhood in NME going along the lines of "one day people will make love on the couch listening this album and wonder where all the energy came from". Never tried it though as I thought the album would scare the ladies away. Did with Technique which was cool. Trouble is there's not many women out there who do like New Order.

Tried 'Every Second Counts' but got a slap on the second line.

Low-Life and Movement fit nicely onto an 80-min. CDR. Both of those are dark enough to make me all tingly. The Missus likes 'em too!

The Peter Saville Show Soundtrack would be excellent for this.

Every Second Counts, All Day Long and Paradise could all be sex references. But for some people, masturbation is a Way Of Life!

I actualy made a CD out of this. It was mainly old NO though (Movement, IALP, Procession, Mesh, etc), with a few darker tracks from later. And I threw in Here To Stay. Because it's just that fun.

If you want romance though, Soundtrack is the way to go. Or the long version of Elegia.

Low-life would be nice. But I don't think the missus will agree on that.

Touched by the hand of God.

'and i've never looked at you in a sexual way in my life before, but i've never woken up like this so desperately before'

very appropriate for the early morning wake up bulge...

I made a tape for my son (7 years old) to make him fall asleep : Vicious streak Run wild All day long Every little counts Elegia (17' version) In a lonely place Doubts even here Too late Behind closed doors Ruined in a day

As we are french, my son doesn't understand the lyrics... but he likes the melody of each song and he falls asleep within 15-20 minutes !
