the rig definitely changed around or just after then, but I'm not sure anything in it changed between 98 and 2001, it LOOKS like the same looney pile of stuff (duplicated you will note).

my observations are however VERY limited.

does sound very full these days, and I loved it on crystal and here to stay.

The sound and some of the riffs he came up with - I reckon its stagnated somewhat with this last album.

Crystal, 60MPH, Turn my Way, Primitive Notion, Player in the League, Sabotage, Here to stay all immediately come to mind as fantastic riffs.

I just love it full stop, it changes depending on the track or even changes just for the middle eight , I love the smooth warm buubly sound of the middle 8 in regret, but it wouldn't be the same without the edgeyness throughout the rest of the song.

Lonesome Tonight was the song that got me well and truely hooked on NO, the bass sounds in that is fantastic, love the sound of in a lonely place aswell.

As I said, I just love it all, couldn't say which was best, granted some bits are sounding a bit re-cycled, but then he comes up with WFTSC and proves he is a god.
