Regret. Because it makes me think of all the girlies who want to be NO fans but can't because they're not tough blokes.

I may have actually cried when I heard 1963 on Substance for the first time.

Regret, as an ex-girlfriend (who was a dancer) saw fit to choreograph a dance routine to it for my own personal 'benefit'. Took me years of alcoholic therapy to delete that debacle, as you can imagine.

Ceremony, and the chorus to WFTSC do make me a little sentimental though, as does Leave me alone. :lame: I know CTB :bear:

Ceremony, Regret, All Day Long, Atmosphere, and As It Is When It Was have all made me reflect back to certain times that would best be described as less than happy.

Sometimes Atmosphere catches me off guard.

Is that a positive comment or a negative one?

Well...even if one of their choons made me cry, you think I'd be stupid enough to post it up here...

Jeez, the shit Shuggy would give me after that!

I agree Jeff, this is the last place I'd want to discuss greeting to a neworder song!

Mind you, WIFM brought me very close to it ;)

Right I'm away to the pub to celebrate Falkirk's magic result today

Leave Me Alone, True Faith, Dream Attack, WFTSC, and occasionally Regret all have the capacity to make me cry. Regret is ultimately the most moving, but usually it just makes me feel extremely happy.

1963 Reminds me of bad times. Cry? Not me. Tough? Not me. Bloke? Not me (I wear shoes for heavens sake).

I always find Kraftwerk very emotional. The original TDF live nearly got me going - but I was the bigger man :hat:

I've only ever cried to the last 4 songs on Closer (and that during a particularly nasty bout of depression), never to New Order. WFTSC, Leave Me Alone, IALP, and a few others so leave me sentimental though.

Without a doubt "Ceremony." "Avenues all lined with trees....." and I fall apart.

Lonesome Tonight, Your Silent Face, In A Lonely Place. Although the whole of Substance made me cry once. I dropped the CD case on my foot.

Regret can be a bit sentimental at the right time, but it wouldn't make me cry.

I don't get emotional at music, at all really... even a live acoustic version of Diane by Therapy? (I believe they covered it, though) didn't go anything.

"Turn" can make me cry. It reminds me of a girl that I loved (and I still love her) without beeing aware of it... but now it's too late, I'll never see her again.

Just in case she's not dead, remember life is strange and life keeps getting stranger every day. As for Turn, it made me cry once as well ...

There are quite some touching songs... But if we're actually talking of MOVED TO TEARS, real tears from my eyes... that's very very difficult. Only Bjork can make it, with devastating songs like Scatterheart or Aurora. The emotional power of the melodies in these songs is unbelievable, she just knocks down all the walls to get to your core and hits it and you just have to surrender to her majesty...

Dreams Never End starting at the instrumental break before the final verse.

As It Is When It Was is a great song for a self-piteous mood however.

I wouldn't go as far as to admit to actually blubbing (being insufficiently tough to admit such a thing) but Let's Go makes me a bit sad, 'cos it was always on the radio when I was living in the US (the single release that never was?) and it reminds me that (a) I'm not living there any more (b) I never did get that PhD.
