Cor, they really ARE tossers in the music business. My slipcase arrived on Saturday but in shredded condition due to crap A4 envelope packaging (or lack thereof) courtesy of London Records so I've been trying to see if they'll send me another. Was worth a try or so I thought but their marketing department don't wanna know. A polite 'no' would be better than having the phone put down on me.

Anyone have any advice on how to wrangle these mofos?

Actually, you should blame the postman for that, not the label.

However I might ask the project manager (if she replies) if they had plans for that.. but I don't know if they produced many more than the pre-ordered sets..

Warners should have used a protective peice of card around the sleve, it would have helped protect it without adding too much to the cost of P&P. still better than anything factory ever did.
