Check out the track I Love New York on the new Madonna album. Really sounds like Stuart Price's time with New Order rubbed of on this track. Mostly the Bass. The beginning reminds me of parts of the peel session version of ICB.

Or I am just going insane, that's probably it.

Price's collaboration on Madonna's new album isn't bad. But, like William Orbit, Price seems to be becoming more "commercial" than ever. Now he's also with Britney Spears for her remix album!

I also noticed that Price used some of the same sound effects. That snapping sound from an aluminum can on Guilt is a Useless Emotion (right before that "I need your love" backup) is also featured in Madonna's next single "Sorry."

Someone early reviewer also mentioned that her song "Forbidden Love" sounds a lot like Blue Monday. There is a similarity, but I'd have to disagree.

He is probably influenced by NO but this is from before he got to work with them. He's used that bass sound and playing style on a few previous mixes and tracks going back to 2002 such as his remix of Felix Da Housekat's 'Silver Screen' and his Zoot Woman stuff

stuart price, aka jacques le cont, aka les rhythmes digitales has been hammering the retro keys since his stellar debut record in 2000. he got hired to do remixes on her previous record after being at the helm for her drowned world and re-invention tours. he has been the new pink for awhile now... the fact that he work(s)/ed with madonna and new order solidifies his stance on pop music and where its headed. brilliant. as for madonna, nothing can stop her. well, her last record almost did, but she actually 'apologized' for that. wrong record, wrong time.
