What a fookin craic it was!

A big hello to all the Onliners (and all the lurkers) who I bumped into yesterday. I will do some kinda story just as soon as I get all the info from Al, Dave and DoN.....again :D

Fookin brilliant craic in the Canterbury and I thought the gig was first rate. Ceremony opening? Fuckin mayhem it was. Turn as well? I phoned at least 4 people while this was playing so they could hear it :lol:

As for the encore, magical, I was telling everyone who'd listen we were gonna get Shadowplay & Warsaw - I got a few strange looks!!! Me, John and JimReillyJimReilly were doing a celtic huddle while jumping all over the place for these. ACE. And as you see Lorraine managed to get a setlist. Ness got a hello from Hooky.....and a coveted drumstick. ASnd as usual the front rows were full of us lot going mental, spoke to DoN earlier and he's as battered as me. Still, twas worth it.

TOP night, see you all in Mancland :beer:

Edit : Big thanks to Al, Johnny Giles and Big Bad Col for the new Viking badges. Nice work lads.

Thoroughly deserved to get the opportunity to be "press" for 3 songs the amount of pics he takes at gigs is amazing!! some fantastic shots, especially of Hooky who was sooooooo hamming it up for the cameras!! :lol:

I will get the Viking Hordes photies on Tuesday hopefully, I left Hibster to do all the band shots, will try and post some at the end of next week. Gonna be dead busy with the Order on Monday and Wednesday - then Dylan Friday and a surprise 50th on Saturday.

out of the 90 i took of the concert only around 4 came out proper. all these fans were jumping around kept on moving me, not that im complaining or anything, the ones that did come out right, i printed them on a4 photo paper and they've come out smashing

I phoned Deek to let him hear but it didn't come across very well, silly sod thought it was Crystal ?!? My kids know more than he does :D

That's Gamma :lol:

Mainly because of the lighting at most concerts the pictures don't come out bright enough, so when I receive the pictures it's a tough balance of leaving them clear but dark or lightning up the gamma and fucking about with saturation and colours so people can see a clearer picture.

I must admit, I haven't quite mastered this technique just yet.....brilliant pictures though Dave and yer avatar's ace :clap:
