To cut a long story short it was the same setlist as Brixton but with Atmosphere played as well as She's Lost Control in the encore.

To be honest, I thought the Brixton gig was better, the crowd was good last night, but it was more mental in London. The reason for saying this is cos I smoked at least 5 fags during the gig in relative ease to the 2 in London ;)

Purely by the crowd's reaction, the song's that lifted the roof last night were Ceremony, Love Vigilantes, LWTUA, Temptation & Warsaw. Got absolutely murdered during them!

We also managed to get Aftershow tickets, thanks to Lorraine & Lucy hounding Andy Robinson just before the gig, unfortunately JT & Lucy had to go straight after the gig so we managed to get their tickets, plus ATR got us one for our designated driver for the night, Darren. So many thanks people. The Corby Order managed to get a picture with just about everyone, didnae see Hooky or Steve at the aftershow though......

Hibster has some amazing band shots, he showed us tem last night, he has also managed to get some of us lot in the crowd, so beware!

Good to meet up with all the usual suspects, stories of the London, Manchester & Hall Of Fame gigs to follow when I can be arsed (and once I get all the info from Al, Dave and Don!)

Cannae wait to meet up with everyone on Wednesday for the Hall Of Fame......it should be good!

Top photies Shug. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet you, Rocket or Tim but I did meet DoN and Al who were really top blokes.

I ended up by the mixing desk at the end thrown backwards when Crystal kicked off.

Big big thanks to Allen for the Vikings pin. His own personal one no less.:thumb:

Kept missing Tim but next time the beers are on me.

I also saw during ACR some lad with a moustache draped in a Stoke City flag talking to a tall baldy guy with shorts on. Wasn't sure whether they posted on here or not. A good night even though I got there late. Nice to hear The Big E & Waterline and NO's set was excellent although the sound was a bit bizarre at times.

I guess to be a member of the ‘Corby Order’ you have to be at the lower end of the gene pool.

You blokes must have been battered with an UGLY stick at birth. The two in the first pic look as though they just managed to escape from their straight jackets.:scream:

To be honest Shug….you probably will 'gub us'. :(

Hopefully it will hasten the demise of McLeish. Not good enough I'm afraid. :\ohwell:

Had a great night at the Apollo last night. A few Stellas in 'The Union' pub pre-gig helped fuel the enthusiasm.

I asked that twat for an aftershow pass seeing as he had a whole wallet full of them and he just mumbled something and looked away!

Holy shite, you got him to smile too! What did you slip him at the afterparty? :skeptic:

Great pics Shug!

Looks like Bernard only had enough smile in him for the first shot!

I always think Andy Robinson always has a Princess Di expression in photos!

'The Blonde with the Drumstick' - that name will stick from now on!

The Stoke flag didn't go to the aftershow to have a good time without you Doc unless it was well hidden :(

Martin - the last I saw of your flag was when Sam and I were untying it in the Joshua Brooks. Then Sam was wearing it...

I'm beginning to worry that it might be flag RIP. I was really hoping I'd simply forgotten and given it to a NOOL-er to hold while I nipped off for a beer/call of nature....me & Sam to walk down to the Apollo this morning to ses if anyone had handed it in but the bloody place was all shut up.

Hey, enough finger pointing! Not guilty, guv'nor, etc. I'm just as depressed about the missing flag. It was becoming an integral part of the Stoke Order. It was a meeting point for newbie noolers in the pre gig piss ups ('just look for the flag')

And now it's gone.

At least you have the pics mate. If any NOOLers have the flag, you'll 100% get it back. Otherwise, we'll have to start a 'flag replacement fund'.

I only got back to London this evening, so perhaps someone has yer flag and hasn't been able to post yet. I remember you saying it cost a bit to produce...

Love the pics with Bernard, Shug!

I'm not a bitter person!! I'm not a bitter person!!!

Have to say that this was one of the most enjoyable pre-show meets I can remember. I can remember it because I stopped drinking way before we left Joshua Brooks, and didn't have another drop all night. I figured it would be better to try and remember some of the names and faces of the many people I hadn't met before.

It was great to finally get to meet those regular posters from different areas who had made the trip, big kudos to Ricardo, Church of the KLF, CuanaD and the Dublin guys and the trenchcoat posse from NornIron. Also great to meet Chris Brogan after all these years, Ally, Dave Blacklock, Shaun, Bansheeman, Monty, and many more. (Apologies to anyone I have forgotten, purely old age rather than malice!)

Biggest surprise for me was not that they managed to remember the order in which they had played the songs only four night before, but the presence of a certain Martian in Joshua Brooks beforehand. Good to see yer fella, now get yerself back on here!

when i had to leave the photo pit during regret i walked up the right hand side of the crowd to get round to hookys side at the front & you were being helped off the wall by a security bloke - didnae see the flag on you then so it was gone by the 4th song....

The Martian? Well, that's very nice to hear, hope all's well with him.

Shug The next time I blag tickets with Lorraine, make sure that JT isn't teaching the next day, absolute fu**er. bloody teachers. When Lorraine decides to post (and I know she reads this regularly) her sign on should be "the blonde with the drumstick" you will be forever remembered for this moment, I have never seen anyone look so chuffed. Top Marks!

Fookin teachers  Cannae thank the pair of ye's enough for the aftershow passes, you did us proud and we returned the favour by getting the pictures, just being there was ace, was too nervous to ask Sarge for a photie though, he's one mean looking m'fker, only downer was no sign of Hooky and Steve, but c'est la vie, as you will notice from me avatar, Hooky has already had the pleasure of meeting this member of the Corby Order :D

Lorraine still hasnae posted, but I will tell her she has to :thumb:
