My favorite gig has to be the only one I have been to! :p The Area One concert in "LA". It is true that it is not exactly in LA, actually it was about an hour or so from downtown in the damn mountains. It was beautiful though. Jeff you should have went to LA instead of SF, I heard it was a better show. And Gillian was there :)
I loved the concert because I was so close and because it was NewOrder. It was the first and only time I saw them but I was upset that the whole concert wasn't them.
Now that they decided not to come to the US :( I guess I will have to HOPE they will someday again!

Nice to know a few others at the Tower Ballroom 86 gig. Support was by the Wonder Stuff and the Mondays. My mate who was pissed after 2 pints of dodgy lager managed to chuck a glass ash tray at Bez. I don't think it would have made much difference! I have a tape of the 94 Powerhouse gig when Hooky offered out the DJ, anyone on the board at that gig?

Barrowlands - 8-10-01 only my second NO gig (being a spritely youngster!) the last was in reading in 92 or 93 but i was 15 and didn't fully appreciate it - also there's the thing with the dedication to my hubby at the glasgow gig totally unforgettable
Best gig for me has to be Woolwich Corenet '87. Excellent set and because it was only advertised in the Standard on the day, the crowd was made up of proper NO fans.
I think "The Wonder Stuff" supported which was good as it was befroe they got that horrid violin

Think it must've been advertised in the Standard before the day, as I went and lived in Colchester at the time. Admittedly, it was a late call, though I do think it was in the NME, or Sounds, or whatever.
All I can remember is the Wonder Stuff getting bottled, and my then girlfriend screaming for people to stop throwing things.. .

Aye...it may have been better...but which one was first??? Besides...I couldn't get my boss to let me off that late...I was originally planning on doing both Mountain View and LA...but the rat bastards claimed they needed me TOO much (so where is my fooking raise then???)...oh, and LA doesn't have Alcatraz or the Golden Gate Bridge!!!!
