The American broadcast on Vh1 of the 2005 UK Rock and Roll Hall of Fame edited out New Order/Joy Divison's induction. I encourage all to boycot VH1.

No it didn't? Although looking at other threads now it appears I may be watching an unedited version featuring New Order that wasn't shown earlier? I don't know.
If you read the earlier posts, Joy Division/New Order was edited out on the VH1 broadcast. The uncut version appeared only on VH1 Classic, a channel that I do not have.
