New Order Spotting... Back in the studio?

I'm pretty sure i saw Phil Cunningham walk past me in my home town of Bath, which is the nearest city to the recording studios they use (Real World & St. Catherine's Court). Unfortunately, due to me being afraid of embarrassment. I didn't go up to him & ask 'Excuse me, but are you?...'

To start with I thought it was just a look-a-like because this guy had side-burns, but on looking a recent photos Phil is sporting them.

He got into a dark coloured Audi (A4 I think). Anybody notice what car he arrived at the Apollo in?

He was with a woman with dark, shoulder length hair.

Hopefully they're back in the studio, but of course they could have just been doing some early Christmas shopping.

Anybody close to NO management able to confirm this?

Are both those studios not where they record anyway? If the Album is already mostly laid down, it'll really only be mixing that needs done. these days people tend to take the tapes elsewhere to mix and master, for no reason but that they can presumably :) nah in reality some studio's just have wonderful control rooms for recording and some have wonderful control rooms for mixing (and you don't need much of a live room facility if you're mixing, no sense in hiring all that unused space). Sometimes you take the stuff elsewhere to mix to use a very specific toy, I'm a bit out of touch with the latest and greatest studio kit, but a while ago, and example would be using a studio purely because it had a Roland RSS posistional uadio thingy installed.

Real World's a cool studio. Pete Gabriel's record company gave him I think it was £3m to go and record an album, so he bought a barn and built real world in it. Giving him a cool studio, the chance to pocket all the recording budgets in future, AND giving NO a nice place to go and play.
