movie clubs scenes can be notoriously shite. i'm thinking the cheesefest in basic instinct.

for me the hands down best club scene in cinematic history is the "white lines" one set in a new york club to farewell the edward norton character before gets sent down in 25th hour. it is most dope.

anna paquin appears again in buffalo soldiers (once again) necking a disco bickie to the strains of mighty warrior blue monday.

christian bale gets stuck into the charlie in American Psycho while true faith pounds in the club. sounded awesome in the theatre

there was that crap club scene in Blade with the crap fake vampires dancing to that crap new order remix.

they did it so much better in The Hunger with Bowie and Deneuve seducing idiot goth kids to the tune of Bauhaus playing Bela Lugosi's Dead. now that was a good club scene.

Great club scene in Trainspotting - where Renton is walking along through the club and his arm starts pumping in time to the music.

And what was the track? It was Bedrock's For What You Dream Of... classic Renaissance anthem.

Bedrock is of course John Digweed and Nick Muir.
