in fact not even sure i've put any on myself - memories of the early hours of new years day very hazy...
listened to the organ album last night, pc on random now so they could crop up at any time
Probably not until May when I stumble upon VH1 Classic or something, but as for mainstream, conventional TV or radio or Muzak airplay....![]()
60 miles an hour...when i played it on my old stratocaster just before this little outing on the web... French radios have never been a lot into N.O:(
Does Dec 30th count? I actually heard Crystal in a wrap restaurant in downtown Boston - I was shocked to hear NO and also for it not to be BLT, TF or BM.
True Faith as the intro to George Best Night on BBC2 last night, followed by LWTUA later on.
true faith on the mix at the party i attended, drinking, getting drunk, drunk, drunker, drunkest...
True Faith on 1st Wave Radio. (Using the new Sirius satellite radio that Santa brought me.) First post by the way, hello everyone!
blue Monday on the radio as I was driving the 1 year old around to put him to sleep...prolly only kept him awake longer but I wasn't about to turn it off...
I caught Best night too, pity they did'nt play Best & Marsh as that is probably the only song that names him. Rodney Marsh also featured at some point.
1st CD played yesterday was Brotherhood.

What's a satellite radio (The same as a digital)?
True Faith was the second NO chune I heard that I was not responisble for. I was getting me hair cut at Great Clips, 102.5 FM was the station they had on. "All the hits from the 80s and 90s and a whole lot of shit!"
I heard 'Turn' in an electronics store. Wasn't a store promotional mix cd either, just a random selection on one of those "test track" devices for purchase selection.
Heard a cover from BLT by Frente ! A few minutes ago on xp radio… I was just waving on the internet…
Not bad.
Excerpts from "Who's Joe", "I told you so" and "Krafty" in the breaks of the german TV broadcast of NFL-football.
Regret, on New Jersey's 106.3 fm. I forget the call letters, I usually listen to WOXY - let me second that it's the best damn internet radio around.
Second was on the 5th january : Krafty on a french radio called fip…
that was really a surprise… French radio don't often play New Order songs.
Ceremony at the local gay dive in Montreal.
Was playing pool at the time. As "I'll break them down, no mercy shown" came up, I pocketed 2 balls in one shot. Needless to say I won the game...
"True Faith" video just come on in my local at lunchtime. I lasted 10 days into the year without hearing New Order!
ok i've heard some now (through my random playlist on my pc - see my sig for last three songs) but still none that i havent put on

Same as that, whilst driving near Derby today. Then True Faith on the M1 driving back. Typical, you wait 10 days then 2 come along at once.

been caught stealing, once, when I was....
Bizarre @ Hoo Ha on Chapel(le) St, followed by BM 88 (7" edit) 2 tracks later. Betwixt unknown.

Me too,
but I'm still feeling confident about hearing some New Order in a GAP store when I visit the US and Canada in June. So far they've never let me down.
Last time they played Krafty, which really cheered me up, at least until I got to the cash register. This girl who worked there had some strange Californian/Siberian accent and was flirting with the guy in front of me in the line. I hoped she would be nice to me as well, but to me she told she thought my English wasn't very good. ![]()
Just listening to my first NO track now (of '06, that i didnt play myself!) - on The revolution: See this thread
I got XM satellite radio for xmas...
and a great feature is you can set it up so whenever a certain artist is playing on ANY of the 100s of channels, it will alert you and you can then rush right to it...
so, I have heard quite a bit of New Order this new year... usually the hits like True Faith on their 80s channel... everytime it beeps i get all excited like i am 17 again...
I didn't even catch any NO on a ski trip with my mate's XM playing for hours. That's what jumping around the dial to please 5 people will do. I live in hope though, and catching an unexpected blast of NO here is so rare it makes my day...
Till then I'll work on loading the i-pod with the complete works of NO/JD so I can switch off the world. And twisting the arm of my mate who DJ's an alternative dance show on the local college station.
It was Krafty (and another song from WFTSC) on bloody Trinny & Susannah (on in the background, which my mother was watching)... :p
Heard BLT for the second time on XFM today. They play the 12" single version but fade it before the Sparky's Magic Piano towards the end.
I got some funny looks from the ethnic community of Brockley in SE London today, blasting it out of the van window.
I was cooking the other night and heard LWTUA on the tv in the other room, went in to investigate and it was on bloody Hollyoaks
Last Thursday night, Jan 19th in Studio 54 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. As if to signal a major improvement in the tunes from chart shite to quality, the DJ started 12" BLT version to initial widespread unfamiliarity, but everyone put their hands up and properly cheered when the synth kicked in after the drum intro.
Later on she dropped Tour de France into another track as well. Fucking fantastic night.
Last week I heard 1963 on Sirius/First Wave channel.
Yesterday Regret was playing while in a outdoor/camping gear store.
finally something to report. BM 88 on JJJ as I write this. it was introduced as disco time. stupid announcer.
