Got this reply today:

I have spoken to the IT guys aout that charge to Aus on the New Order stuff and to send all 12 to there would cost £21.10 in total whatever that is in Aus dollars I don’t know but don’t think its $100. Maybe you can pass it onto that person.

I'll have to do the sums. May still be cheaper buying from Virgin at 3 for GBP10 and accepting one of the kind offers from UK NOOLers to ship at cost.
