Any ideas about the price?

The pet shop boys play there a few days before and tickets are £28.50 - £40.00. Also tickets available in the VIP area are about £170-inc free bar.

So I reckon Neworder tickets will be about the same price.

VIP area is boss. massive long buffet. free champ's, ale all night. front/second row seats for gig. out the back "smoking/wink wink" area. went the other year for Simple Minds. we were in the VIP tent more than our actual seats. my uncle gets them from the Echo every year. I shall keep pestering him. but he hates new order.

Is it a strict seating policy then? Any room to [ahem] clog up the aisles with bodies. No nice gap between the seats and the stage?!

I remember saying they should play there last year. About fucking time.

Already going to the PSB and er Bryan Adams with the missus of course.:uhoh:

4,500.

Fair size then? Especially for a seated venue.

It's off the Dock Road or at least it was last year. Must hold a few 'cos a few big names have appeared before now.

the tent is massive. mega big. near the front, great view. not much gap between first row and stage. room for dancing. near the back: fucked. barney will just be a blonde blob shape.

can't take your pints in. there's another big tent for that.

Everyone just stands up as soon as the bands come on anyhow so don't worry about it being seated.

It's usually held in Kings Dock, just next to the Albert Dock.

Massive queues for beer and toilets though :\ohwell:

Now if I can just get a support slot on the night......

As in, everyone piles down the front or as in, everyone just stands up!

err... when i was dragged along to see a certain irish 4 piece 2 years ago, the women (i.e the majority) were standing ON their seats. when i came back from a VIP part, there was a girl standing on my seat. so i let her keep it, and fucked off back to the VIP. must have see about 2 songs in all.

I'm actually liking the sound of the VIP bit! :thumb:

I'd go to Ibrox if it meant seeing The Order! A few seats cetainly won't put me off. And if it's anything like the QEH - seats won't come into play anyway :shades:

i've got no problem hitting boys in the head to get where i want in a venue. and as a girl i don't get hit back. which is nice.

no VIP area for me, though. prices are too steep. mr. core and i will be buying relatively inexpensive tickets.

Yes, Normal tickets.

Unless of course i win the lottery or somthing. Then i'll get them to play for me in the back garden.

Wait a minute... SEATED venue... INDOORS...

This is what I've been waiting for ages

Anyways, I don't recall once I actually seated in a concert... maybe for the first songs, but never on the floor though.

Ah well, too bad, this is just after my vacation, I'm saving my hopes for Autumn ;)

Depends of the venue I guess.. when I saw Depeche Mode in Decembre.. the fookin security was a real dictatorship... couldn't move from "your place"..

Can you actually believe one security guy came to me and asked me to go back to my seat because I was standing at the complete back of the floor? not like I was making a move to go up front...

£40+ for a gig where I have to be seated and potentially really far away from the stage, doesn't sound too good to me. I wonder if they'll do any other gigs. :/

I have a horrible feeling that IF England have made it to the final, then NO will be playing WIFM... AND I'd probably miss the final due to travelling home... I would like to go though...

I don't think the final's until 8pm on the 9th, so most people should catch it.

What a weekend that would be, if England did make it
