JD and american psycho

on the DVD collectors' edition of american psycho there's a doc about downtown NYC in the 1980s. one of the men being interviewd said one of his first memories of the 1980s was seeing joy division at the paradise club and the place smelled of sweat and sex. hmmmm, is this correct? they played hurrah's and pier 3 in 1980 after ian's death, and the roxy nd the ukrainian national home the next year, but i don't see any evidence of the paradise club...unless i'm overlooking something.

They played the Paradiso in Amsterdam. Does that count? :baby:

Maybe they meant the Paradise Garage, 1983. Good set, there, too.
