Just been freezing my tits off after standing outside the Filmworks cinema for about and hour and a half. Waited around on my own for ages, feeling like a total knobba....I actually arrived before most of the press did! First sighting of the evening was Mani from The Stone Roses, resplendent in a gangsta style pinstripe suit - confused me though, coz he was actually coming OUT of the cinema 
Saw loads more people going in and collecting their passes, but no one I recognised (apart from Alpinestars - pretty good local band), until.....spotted some fella reaching out of his back pack to produce a vinyl copy of 'Best of...' to be signed by Steve and Gillian!! I bounded over like a complete womble, not even knowing what I was going to say, produced the only bit of paper in my bag, (which was my payslip!) for them to sign. I started gibbering on about coming from work and being totally unprepared :o - Steve looked absolutely terrified, but Gillian was very smiley and is looking fab.
Waited around a bit longer, coz the press seemed to still be hanging around, but no sign of Hooky, Barney or any of the stars of the film :(
Had to leave as I am now tired, hungry and very embarrassed at being such a gibbering fool .....:)
