BM on BBC3's "The Worst Job in Politics: The Leader of the Opposition" on Tuesday night. Plays as the programme describes Maggie Thatcher's General Election victory of 1979. Strange considering this predated BM by four years...

I was watching a proigramme on daytime BBC1 about buying houses at aucytion and developing them. In one section I swear I heard something that was by New Order, as I heard what sounded like Hookies bass. It might have been Revenge or Monacco though.

That was NO alright. The program was on more than once during the week and they played different NO tracks in each of them.

Was in my local record shop yesterday and they are usually playing awful post-rock like Slint, so imagine my surprise to hear "Confusion" come over the speakers.

Hooky namedropped by Mike Joyce tonight on a tour of Greater Manc, outside Salford Lads' Club on C4's Trammission (yet another nod to the NO/JD boys)...

I heard Slirt before, in fact I used to play their music over the Lexington KY airwaves when I was a WRFL DJ eons ago. It is not awful. I think NO and Slint aren´t in the same genre. Maybe it is they guy/gal who programs the music at the store who's awful.

I'm watching "The Drug Years" on VH1 right now (1:30 AM local time, and I have nothing to do since I don't go back to school until next week). The episode is about the 80s (the rise of x, coke, and crack) and basically began with Blue Monday. They had a couple clips from the Confusion video.
